Allen & Heath's advanced digital mixer with Quad FX Core DSP signal processing and EQ per channel. The mixer is presented by the manufacturer as a pioneering product, which is confirmed by the fact that the soul of the XONE: DB4 is a Quad FX Core DSP processor, with the help of which each channel has its own FX bank and BPM counter system. Thanks to this, the system automatically adapts the effect parameters and loops to the tempo of the music. There are 5 studio-quality effects in the device: delay, reverb, modulator, resonator, demage, and each FX type has its own library from which we can recall different effect versions. The mixer also features the well-known dual filter system. In addition to the effects, each channel has a built-in loop section, the optional loop length is 1/16 - 4 bar, which can be freely stretched or shortened. Each channel has a 3-band EQ, which is available for multiple equalizer functions, such as standard asymmetric EQ (+6/-26dB), tone trimmer (+6dB/off, 24dB/octave slope) or High-Pass/Low-Pass filter with adjustable resonance. The mixer also has a multi-channel built-in USB2 sound card for computer recording, as well as an OLED display. The XONE:DB4 is dual function. With the help of the MIDI Shift button, it functions as a MIDI controller, so you can send MIDI signals with the Loop and FX controls without changing the mixer settings.
