AlphaTheta – XDJ-AZ

4-channel professional all-in-one DJ system.
A Klubstandard DJ experience with a sense of total control.

The XDJ-AZ-N inherited the layout and atmosphere of the flagship CDJ-3000 and DJM-A9 to provide an intuitive experience. When you use the system, you feel as if you are in one with the decks, which allows for more creative performances. With a full-size legal reel like the CDJ-3000, the XDJ-AZ pitch bend and scratch function is incredibly smooth. The mixer part inherits the intuitive layout of the DJM-A9, with all controls positioned to maximize playability. You can also assign Beat FX with user-friendly buttons to help you express yourself through music. So, once you've mastered XDJ-AZ, you'll get to know the workings and feel of clubs' standard equipment, making it much easier to perform at your best in clubs.

Built-in Wi-Fi and support for different media types to suit your DJ style

rekordbox CloudDirectPlay compatibility

Access your cloud-based recordbox library directly from XDJ-AZ with CloudDirectPlay. You can use the latest version of your playlists and performance data, such as Hot Cue information, and even update it from the unit. This not only ensures a seamless DJ experience, but also allows you to do all your prep work exclusively from the multifunction system.

Supported by Beatport Streaming, the StreamingDirectPlay feature allows you to play songs directly from Beatport's vast dance music library and the latest genre-specific playlists. You can even get analytics data like waveform, BPM, AND grid information, so you can easily mix new and varied music.

*To use rekordbox CloudDirectPlay, you must subscribe to rekordbox Creative or Professional or Cloud Option.

In addition to playing songs from USB drives, you can also DJ while connected to your PC/Mac or mobile device. And if you want to showcase your personality even more, you can play the sound from external devices such as turntables and samplers. The unit has a USB Type-C port for PC/Mac connection, so you can use the record box for Mac/Windows in Performance mode or Serato DJ Pro*1 and no paid subscription required. And if you're using Wi-Fi for your rekordbox Link Export, you can conveniently access tracks from your PC/Mac or mobile device without having to connect cables.*2

*1 Arrives December 2024.

*2 You can use rekordbox Link Export on Mac/Windows or rekordbox on iOS/Android. Link export in Android recordbox does not support wired connections.

Large touchscreen for seamless control, from song selection to presentation

The XDJ-AZ's 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen not only gives you more visual information, but also makes everything easier to control. Up to 13 songs can be displayed at once – a significant increase over XDJ-XZ 8 – so you can see more music and find songs faster. Other advanced features include Playlist Bank, where you can register up to 4 playlists for quick access, Touch Preview, which allows you to preview tracks from your playlists without loading them, and Touch Cue, which allows you to preview the next section of tracks currently on the deck. This makes career choices quick and seamless. And with the option to display the status of your selected Performance Pad and Beat FX settings at the same time, you can instantly get the information you need for your presentation.

Standalone 4-deck playback

Whether you want to add more sounds to your mix, create live mashups, resume with another DJ, or line up more tracks to throw at the perfect time, XDJ-AZ in 4-deck playback support gives you the flexibility to perform at your leisure. You can also seamlessly integrate CDJs into your settings, so there's no need to switch decks. Thanks to PRO DJ LINK™ compatibility, rhythm and broadcast information are synchronized between players, giving you complete control.

Ultra-low-latency wireless monitoring with SonicLink-enabled DJ headphones

Thanks to the built-in SonicLink transmitter, you can enjoy ultra-low latency wireless monitoring with the HDJ-F10 professional DJ headphones. With the push of a button, you can pair your XDJ-AZ with your headphones and move freely around the DJ booth or stage, knowing you'll never get tangled up or pull a cable. SonicLink is AlphaTheta's proprietary ultra-low-latency wireless technology. It transmits sound 20 times faster than the commonly used Bluetooth SBC codec, so you will never notice a delay between pressing the button or scratching with the stepping wheels and hearing the output sound.

*XDJ-AZ does not support wireless connection with WAVE-EIGHT portable wireless DJ speaker.
