Technics SL-1200MK7

Product description

Technics stopped producing turntables in 2010 due to low demand.
Interestingly, it soon began to experience a renaissance in listening to and discoing from the album, so from 2016 onwards, they reappeared with the release of several completely new and greatly updated versions.
In addition to some versions intended for direct hifists, the MK7 model for DJs was also released in 2019.
I think the device has a slightly lower quality feeling than the previous mk2-mk6 model series, but it is not bad.
When you try it at a high volume party, it starts to get excited faster than previous Technics models.
Its engine feels stronger than its predecessor.
The starting torque and braking force can also be adjusted in three steps by switching small micro switches.
Another innovation is that it is possible to play a disc with up to 78 revolutions.
I don't see much practical use for this feature from a dj point of view, but it can be useful for digitizing very old discs, for example.
In addition, an additional feature is reverse playback, that is, the reverse playback of discs.
